Join a Nationally Growing, Ethically Driven Care Group with 140 care homes (and growing fast). Care Concern Group is proud to be a leading name in elderly care. We’re seeking an experienced, values-led Quality Manager to support our unwavering commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, person‑centred care across our services. This is a unique opportunity to shape how quality is measured, embedded, and improved across a diverse and growing group of homes.
About the Role
As our Quality Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving regulatory compliance, raising standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across a regional portfolio of care homes. You’ll work alongside Home Managers, Regional Directors, and clinical teams to ensure services not only meet but exceed regulatory expectations. You’ll bring insight, support, and challenge where needed, ensuring every resident receives safe, compassionate, and dignified care, every day.
In the immediate term, you will have oversight of a defined portfolio of approximately 15 homes, including a recent acquisition in the North West, alongside services across Leicestershire, Sheffield, Sale, and Berwick‑upon‑Tweeddie. This provides a practical platform to embed procurement improvements, build stakeholder relationships, and drive consistency, while contributing to the wider Group strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on quality assurance across a designated region of care homes.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and compliance reviews in line with CQC and internal standards.
- Identify risks and areas for improvement and support services in developing effective action plans.
- Coach and mentor Home Managers and operational teams on best practices in care delivery and governance.
- Monitor trends in quality data, using findings to inform strategy and early interventions.
- Contribute to the development of group‑wide quality initiatives and policy updates.
- Collaborate with clinical leads, safeguarding teams, and external regulators.
- Act as an ambassador for our values and drive a positive quality culture across the business.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in quality assurance or governance within a health or social care setting.
- In-depth understanding of CQC regulations and frameworks.
- A background in managing inspections, audits, and service improvements.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and coaching skills.
- Ability to analyse data and present insights to both clinical and operational teams.
- Willingness to travel regularly.
- Registered Nurse (NMC) or Social Work qualification.
- Experience working in a multi‑site environment.
- Previous exposure to turnaround or improvement roles.
