Leicester Tigers are looking for Casual Match Day Stewards to make sure every visitor has a safe and enjoyable match day at Mattioli Woods Welford Road.
The Role
Reporting to the Deputy Safety Officer, you will help manage the circulation of spectators, prevent overcrowding, reduce the risk of incidents and take early action in an emergency, helping the club maintain the highest standards of safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote the health, safety and welfare of spectators, staff and fellow stewards
- Carry out safety checks and staff entrances, exits and other key points
- Direct spectators entering and leaving the ground to keep an even flow
- Monitor crowd conditions to prevent overcrowding and ensure safe dispersal
- Understand key counter-terrorism prevention points and assist the emergency services
- Provide basic emergency first aid and respond to emergencies such as the early stages of a fire
About You
- Calm, responsible and safety-focused
- Excellent communication skills and a team player
- Available to work evenings and weekends, including home fixtures
- Eligible to work in the UK
