Hours: 37.5 each week, weekend work expected and some evenings

Reports to: Chief Commercial Officer

Job Purpose: You will play a key role in the growth and success of the Women’s commercial programme. This role is responsible for driving new commercial partnership revenue while managing and developing relationships with existing partners. The focus will be on taking the Women’s Rugby commercial rights to market, building strong relationships with prospective partners, and creating innovative, insight-led partnership solutions that deliver meaningful business impact. Working closely with the Club’s wider Commercial teams, you will also act as a key point of contact for the Leicester Tigers Women’s team to support the successful delivery of partner rights. You will play an important role in managing women’s team partners and prospects at matchdays, events, and networking opportunities, ensuring a high standard of partner engagement and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partnership Sales & Business Development
  • Take ownership of driving new partnership revenue by identifying and securing new commercial opportunities
  • Proactively take the women’s team commercial rights to market.
  • Generate leads and develop a strong pipeline of prospects through targeted outreach and networking
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and articulate complex partnership opportunities clearly and confidently
  • You will work closely with the Ticket Sales Manager to help drive ticket sales for Women’s games
  • Relationship Management & Engagement
    • Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective partners and industry contacts
    • Maintain regular engagement with existing partners to strengthen relationships and identify future opportunities
    • Work closely with the Partnership Delivery team to support the successful execution of Women’s partner rights where appropriate
    • Collaborate with internal departments including Marketing, Communications, Ticketing and Events
    • Maintain a strong understanding of the sponsorship and partnership landscape
    • Monitor market trends and industry activity to identify new opportunities
    • You will represent Leicester Tigers Women’s team at industry events
    • Clear understanding of how partnerships can deliver measurable business outcomes for brands

    Person Specification:

    Essential Qualifications & Experience

    • Proven experience in taking commercial rights to market (E) and securing partnership revenue (D)
    • Demonstrated experience in business development or consultative sales roles (E)
    • Experience of achieving or exceeding sales targets (E)
    • Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders (E)
    • Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a team environment (E)
    • Experience using CRM systems (D)
    • Understanding of partnership activation principles and sponsorship measurement (E)
