Active Leicester operates swimming lessons at seven leisure centres within the city: Aylestone, Braunstone, Cossington Street, Evington, Leicester Leys, New Parks and Spence Street.
When employed as a Swim Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work set hours on a permanent basis at any of our leisure centres. Hours of work may include daytime, evenings, and weekends and are open to discussion at interview.
To apply for a term-time school swimming contract, you must be available Monday to Friday between 9am-3pm. Hours of work can flex termly dependent on school bookings, so flexibility is required.
To apply for a 50-week contract for the core programme, you must be able to commit to 2 days of work. Lessons typically start at 4pm Monday to Friday, and 8 or 9am on the weekend. Shifts can range from 2-4 hours.
