Join our journey here at Leicester Tigers, England’s most supported and most successful rugby team. Since 1880, we have strived to be leaders in everything we do, on and off the pitch and we currently represent our community in elite men’s and women’s rugby and wheelchair rugby.
Our Community programme looks at developing and encouraging young people to take part in rugby by offering a range of products and services such as masterclasses, residential camps, Tigers challenge, cup games and matchday coaching clinics.
As part of our commitment to the growth of the game of rugby and the Tigers Family, Leicester Tigers Community team work with local schools and rugby clubs to engage as many young people in Rugby Union as possible. We have opportunities for casual staff to work alongside our full-time community team to support with coaching on our flagship programmes, including Tigers Rugby Camps and Match Day Coaching Clinics.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Working with full-time staff to deliver fun and engaging coaching sessions that ensure participant enjoyment and safety.
- Offer support on Match Day Coaching Clinics at Leicester Tigers home games.
- Coaching on Leicester Tigers Camps during the school holidays when available.
- Represent the brand of Leicester Tigers and its values.
- Stay up to date with current coaching and safeguarding practice.
You will need to complete the RFU Safeguarding qualification, 'E-introduction to Safeguarding'.
