An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and talented individual to join a dedicated and professional team at Somerset Activity and Sports Partnership. The post holder will deliver the outcomes of the Barclays Girls Football Partnership, which aims to give every girl equal access to football in school by providing opportunities for girls.

Salary: £24,350 (£12.62 hourly rate)

Hours: Part Time

Contract: Fixed Term (2 years)

About the Role

Brief Description: This role involves delivering the outcomes of the Barclays Girls Football Partnership, focusing on:

  • Providing opportunities for girls to learn football through PE lessons
  • Organizing girls-only football sessions
  • Facilitating participation in girls' football school fixtures and events
  • Leading girls' football activities for others
  • Connecting girls with community clubs and recreational opportunities

Personal Specification: We seek an individual with good knowledge of school sport, community sport, and sports clubs' structures, ideally with experience in planning and coordinating programmes. The successful candidate will be highly organized and possess strong interpersonal skills.

Note: Employment is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
