School Sports Assistant at School Sports Partnership
Vandyke Upper School is seeking a School Sports Assistant to join its National Award-winning School Sports Partnership team. The office is based within Vandyke Upper School.
Salary: £20,920 to £21,249 per annum for 37 hours per week, term-time only, plus 37 hours outside term-time (based on full-time salary of £24,027 to £24,404). NJC Level 2A (points 3-4).
Contract: Fixed 1-year contract initially. Part-time considered for the right candidate.
Location: Vandyke Upper School, Leighton Buzzard.
About the Role
The successful candidate will work with schools across Leighton Buzzard, Linslade, Woburn Sands, and surrounding villages to enhance Physical Education and School Sport opportunities for young people aged 5-19 years.
Requirements include being highly motivated, organized, and passionate about sport. Previous experience working with young people is preferred. The role involves practical delivery and administrative work, requiring a driving license and transport.
The role also involves delivering and developing key partnership intervention programs across local schools.
