At the University of Leeds, we have the ambition to provide the best environment for those student athletes that wish to perform at the highest level and develop their sporting skills. This has been most recently shown through the development of our new sport support service facility – Gryphon Performance Hub

As Performance Sport Manager, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of the university\’s performance sport programme. Key areas of responsibility will include the management and delivery of our sports scholarship and our growing TASS programme. It will also include the development of our student athlete recruitment strategy, leading our multi-disciplinary team of sport support staff and managing our performance sport home – Gryphon Performance Hub

You will work with our focus sports, athlete scholars, sporting partners, coaching staff and sports practitioners to create the best culture and environment to enable us to fulfil our sporting potential. As an inspirational, motivating and committed Performance Sport Manager, you will help us to maximise our national standing within British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) competition, create high performing teams and develop international athletes who will represent their country and the University on the world stage.

Your working week will be split across three locations; the home for performance sport – Gryphon Performance Hub and the university health and fitness complex, The Edge which is on the University of Leeds campus, and the other being the Sports Park Weetwood

This is a full time role working 35 hours each week. There will be some requirements to work evenings and weekends. Please apply online.
