Senior Nursery Practitioner in Leicester

Overview

Kiddisafe Nursery is well established within the community and has been operating since 2007. The nursery is ideally situated in Leicester City. We are looking to recruit a qualified, experienced senior lead Level 3 or above nursery lead to join our friendly, professional team.

Responsibilities

• To effectively deliver the EYFS ensuring that the individual needs and interest of children in the setting.
• To keep records of your key children\’s development and online learning journeys and share with parents, carers.
• Support all staff and engage in good teamwork.
• Supervising staff, managing quality of care and session delivery.
• To develop and maintain strong partnerships and communication with parents/carers.
• To ensure the provision of a high‑quality environment to meet the needs of individual children.
• Maintaining safeguarding procedures.
• A warm, caring, and patient nature.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work with young children and their families in a sensitive and positive way.
• A sense of responsibility.
• Keen interest in child development.
• The ability to work in a team.
• Committed to lifelong learning and skill building.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year experience working in Early Years.
• Experienced and knowledgeable in EYFS.
• NVQ Level 3 and above.
• Able to promote positive behaviour in a nurturing environment.
• Only Level 3 candidates will be considered for this post.
