We are seeking to appoint a dynamic Lecturer with experience and knowledge of the Travel and Tourism industry to join our supportive team working at Abbey Park Campus. With a focus on delivering Travel and Tourism/Aviation programmes ranging from level 1 to level 6, we are looking for an individual with the ability to teach a range of subjects and levels. The ability to teach at higher levels would be an advantage. Experience of quality assurance processes would be desirable.
You will be an enthusiastic and motivated teacher who promotes exciting learning experiences as well as being student-centred and committed to providing support to 16-18-year-olds on study programmes as well as adults.
Qualifications:
- Applicants will be required to hold a full teaching qualification at Level 5 or above or be willing to work towards obtaining one. If you do not hold a suitable teaching qualification, the College will support you to obtain this as part of our investment in your professional development.
- Ideally, you will hold a minimum Level 4 in a related subject qualification as well.
- You will have a minimum Level 2 in Maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above or equivalent).
