We’re on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Senior Producer to join our squad at Leicester City Football Club. As a Senior Producer, you’ll play a key role in leading the operational delivery and quality of our video production, ensuring every output meets our standards and deadlines.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing day-to-day video production workflows to ensure output is delivered smoothly, on time and to a consistently high standard.
- Acting as quality control for all video touchpoints so that our content meets brand standards and demonstrates professional standards.
- Managing matchday video output for stadium screens and IPTV, ensuring running orders are accurate and content is delivered without issues.
- Introducing improved techniques, workflows and tools to raise efficiency and production value across the team.
- Staying ahead of industry trends, platform developments and technical standards to keep our content modern, relevant and competitive.
- Supporting senior staff with idea development and delivery, ensuring creative ideas are realised through high-quality production.
- Guiding and developing team members.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience working in a similar role, with a strong track record in filming, editing and producing high quality video content in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects is essential.
Summary of Duties:
- Supervise day-to-day video production activity across the Content Team to maintain smooth delivery.
- Allocate production tasks and priorities in line with the content schedule and deadlines.
- Provide quality control reviews for edits, graphics and final outputs before publication or delivery.
- Produce and edit high quality video content across football, commercial and wider Club requirements.
- Build and maintain matchday stadium screen and IPTV running orders in line with operational requirements.
- Coordinate matchday screen content delivery, including pre-match checks, live updates and issue resolution.
- Ensure all video deliverables meet technical specifications for each platform, screen system or distribution route.
- Create and maintain templates, processes and documentation to improve consistency and efficiency across production workflows.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, editing techniques and platform best practice and share learning with the team.
- Identify and propose workflow and technology improvements that enhance output quality and team efficiency.
- Provide coaching, feedback and hands-on support to develop team capability and raise standards.
- Liaise with relevant internal stakeholders to gather requirements and manage expectations for video delivery.
- Maintain and monitor production readiness, including kit, storage, file management and post-production organisation.
- Be available to work both home and away matchdays as required.
- Ad-hoc duties to support department priorities and matchday requirements.
Personal Specification:
- Have a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong track record in filming, editing and producing high quality video content in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience of supervising production output, maintaining standards and supporting others to improve quality.
- Experience producing content across multiple touchpoints, including commercial, football and live environment outputs.
- Experience working under pressure to fixed deadlines, including matchday or live delivery contexts.
Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of video production workflows from pre-production through to delivery and archiving.
- Strong understanding of technical delivery requirements for stadium screens, IPTV and digital platforms.
- Knowledge of live broadcast systems and related workflows is important.
- Knowledge of Monday.com or equivalent project management software will be required.
Skills:
- High level filming and editing capability, including strong storytelling, pacing and finishing standards.
- Strong eye for detail and consistent quality control across multiple projects at once.
- Ability to improve workflows through technical understanding, process development and coaching others.
- Excellent IT skills, with specific knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrate integrity, ambition, relevance and a desire to be successful in your approach.
- Ability to work autonomously on own initiative, be pro-active in managing your own time.
Travel and Flexibility:
- You must have the ability to travel independently across our sites and other locations.
- You must have the ability to travel internationally if required.
