We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our squad at Leicester City Football Club. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a key role in supporting the efficient running of a first-class kitchen. Your responsibilities will include:
- Washing, sanitizing, and storing correctly all service and kitchen equipment.
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene by cleaning and sanitizing food preparation areas, work surfaces, walls, ovens, and floors.
- Regularly emptying and cleaning bins and managing rubbish and recycling.
- Assisting chefs with simple food prep tasks like washing, peeling, and processing ingredients as necessary.
- Unloading, unpacking, and correctly storing food and supply deliveries in designated areas.
- Adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene standards in the kitchen, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
- Assisting in keeping storage areas, including refrigerators and freezers, clean and organised.
- Working closely with other kitchen staff, contributing to a positive and productive team atmosphere.
