Leicester City Football Club is seeking a talented Chef de Partie to join our Catering Department and play a key role in supporting the nutritional performance of our elite athletes. The Role

Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will support the catering operation by helping to plan, prepare and deliver exceptional food standards across a variety of services. You'll oversee your own section within the kitchen, ensuring efficient operations while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, hygiene and presentation. Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll contribute to creating nutritionally focused menus tailored to the needs of professional athletes, while embracing a positive, no-excuses mentality and continually striving for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation and delivery of diverse, balanced and nutritionally focused menus to support athlete performance and recovery.
  • Support food ordering processes and stock control activities to maximise efficiency and minimise waste.
  • Take ownership of a designated section within the kitchen and ensure it operates effectively.
  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes in line with the Club's culinary standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety and food hygiene regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and productive team environment.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn, develop and grow within an elite sporting environment.
  • Travel with teams when required, acting as a representative of the Catering Department and providing food provisions as needed.
  • Promote and uphold Club policies and values while supporting colleagues across the organisation.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience working within a professional kitchen, ideally in a similar role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Passion for high culinary standards and continuous improvement.
  • Strong attention to detail and a positive work ethic.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays when required.
  • Full driving licence and access to personal transport due to the remote location of the Training Ground.

Desirable

  • Level 2 Food Safety Qualification or higher.
