About The Role & Who We're Scouting
We're on the lookout for passionate and skilled Foundation Phase Coaches to join our squad at Leicester City Football Club. You'll play a key role in supporting the development of young players within Leicester City Academy by creating an engaging, inclusive and appropriately challenging learning environment that enables players aged 9-11 to develop as confident, skilful, intelligent and adaptable footballers.
Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering high-quality, age-appropriate coaching practices that align with the Academy curriculum and the developmental needs of 9-11-year-old players, and you'll need to bring a pro-active and innovative approach to the table. If you're excited about making a difference and contributing to the Club's success, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
The ideal candidate will have significant experience of young player development and knowledge of appropriate technique and skill development practices. You'll need to be able to communicate positively with young players, their parents, coaches and management with energy and enthusiasm. A minimum UEFA B qualification (or working towards) is essential, and we're looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
