We are looking for a Mentor – Employability to support young adults aged 16–24, helping them build confidence, skills, and pathways into employment, education, or training. Working alongside the Employability Coordinator, you will deliver hands-on support through our Youth Employability Hub, providing CV guidance, employability action planning, and access to wider support around finance, housing, and mental health.

What you’ll be doing
- Support delivery of a multi-agency employability programme
- Engage and motivate participants through inclusive sessions
- Provide CV support and employability action planning
- Support progression into employment, apprenticeships, education or training
- Maintain accurate attendance and participant records
- Update Salesforce, Views, Participant, Upshot and other systems
- Promote sessions and share success stories
- Work positively with partner organisations
- Contribute to monitoring, evaluation and KPIs
- Follow safeguarding, risk management and compliance processes
You may be required to work outside of normal office hours, at evenings and weekends.
Location – LCitC is based at King Power Stadium, Leicester. The delivery of sessions will take place at partner schools/Local Community centres etc and some aspects of the role will require homeworking, therefore you will need the ability to travel across multiple sites across Leicester and Charnwood.
