Location: King Power Stadium

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Contract: 12-month fixed term contract

Be part of something that changes lives and strengthens our community. We are looking for a Mentor – Employability to support young adults aged 16–24, helping them build confidence, skills, and pathways into employment, education, or training. Working alongside the Employability Coordinator, you will deliver hands-on support through our Youth Employability Hub, providing CV guidance, employability action planning, and access to wider support around finance, housing, and mental health.

What you’ll be doing

  • Support delivery of a multi-agency employability programme
  • Engage and motivate participants through inclusive sessions
  • Provide CV support and employability action planning
  • Support progression into employment, apprenticeships, education or training
  • Maintain accurate attendance and participant records
  • Update Salesforce, Views, Participant, Upshot and other systems
  • Promote sessions and share success stories
  • Work positively with partner organisations
  • Contribute to monitoring, evaluation and KPIs
  • Follow safeguarding, risk management and compliance processes

You may be required to work outside of normal office hours, at evenings and weekends.

Location – LCitC is based at King Power Stadium, Leicester. The delivery of sessions will take place at partner schools/Local Community centres etc and some aspects of the role will require homeworking, therefore you will need the ability to travel across multiple sites across Leicester and Charnwood.
