About The Role & Who We're Scouting

We’re on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Pre-Academy Lead Coordinator and Coach Developer to join our squad at Leicester City Football Club. As a Pre-Academy Lead Coordinator and Coach Developer, you’ll play a key role in coordinating the effective administration, regulation and organisation of all Pre-Academy activity ensuring players of Academy standard are identified, recruited and transitioned into the Academy.

Your responsibilities will include coordinating with the LCFC Emerging Talent Team, Lead Foundation Phase Coach and the Pre-Academy Programme Lead the identification programme and process, ensuring that the Pre-Academy operates within the rules and regulations of the relevant football authorities. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working in Academy football. You’ll need to possess strong time management skills and have a flexible approach to work, and a commitment to continuing professional development. UEFA B and FA Introduction to Talent Identification qualifications are both essential, and we’re looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
