Leicester City in the Community has a fantastic opportunity for a Casual Community Wellbeing Coach to join our dynamic team on a casual basis.
About The Role
- To utilise the brand of Leicester City Football Club to identify, engage, inspire and empower young people and adults.
- To provide a fun and safe environment for participants to talk about their wellbeing, building positive relationships with participants, parents and colleagues.
- To follow the referral processes set out by LPT as part of the provider pack to ensure participants are receiving the best support possible for their situation.
- To provide wellbeing support, one-to-one and group, to participants that engage with the sessions.

- Able to work on own initiative.
- Excellent communicator at a variety of levels.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Ability to encourage, motivate and enthuse individuals to participate.
- Committed, self-motivated and driven.
- Strong commitment to high quality delivery.
- Ability to form strong and sustain appropriate working relationships.
Essential requirements:
- Two years experience working with children and adults in a wellbeing capacity, or a community environment.
- Mental Health First Aid qualification.
- FA Safeguarding Certificate.
- FA Emergency First Aid Certificate.
Contract Type: Casual
Hours Per Week: 0
You may be required to work outside of normal office hours, at evenings and weekends.
Location: LCitC is based at King Power Stadium, Leicester. The delivery of sessions will take place at partner schools/local community centres etc. and some aspects of the role will require homeworking, therefore you will need the ability to travel across multiple sites across Leicester and Charnwood.
