Leicester City in the Community has a fantastic opportunity for a Community Engagement Coach to join our dynamic team. About The Role The projects will be primarily based in the city and county, delivering mentoring and sports coaching activities to young people and vulnerable adults. The successful candidate will report directly to the Premier League Kicks Coordinator. Premier League Kicks delivers diversionary and positive activities on behalf of the Premier League Charitable Fund. You will be required to: Deliver coaching sessions during evenings and weekends in our Kicks provisions across venues within Leicester, including New Parks, St Matthews, Beaumont Leys, Braunstone, Eyres Monsell, Highfields, Charnwood, Blaby and Hinckley. Mentor young people and volunteers across a weekly programme. Promote participation in PL Kicks activities; encouraging a range of vulnerable & targeted young people in the community and in schools who are at risk of engaging in criminality, alcohol and substance abuse. Input data across multiple programmes to track and motor the performance of the programme. Provide reports based on the data frequently to the coordinator Who Were Looking For / Key Criteria Hold relevant UEFA C qualification and/or NGB in coaching. Experience of engaging with young people regularly in a community setting for at least two years. Experience of delivering activity sessions to engage young people using sport in a community setting. Experience in dealing with systems and monitoring platforms. For example Salesforce, Participant Have experience working across all levels of grassroots football A high-level understanding of inequalities that exist across socio economic groups in supporting active lives, how they intersect and experience of working to reduce these. Hours Per Week 37.5 You may be required to work outside of normal office hours, at evenings and weekends. Location
LCitC is based at King Power Stadium, Leicester. The delivery of sessions with take place at partner schools/Local Community centres etc and some aspects of the role will require homeworking, therefore you will need the ability to travel across multiple sites across Leicester and Charnwood.
