Overview

As a Multi-Skilled Operative for Leicester City Council, you will travel within the city to carry out maintenance tasks, using a vehicle equipped with building materials and electrical plant. Your day is planned by the Works Planning team, with tasks allocated via a work mobile phone. Overtime in the evenings and weekends may occur with advance notice.
Responsibilities
- Travel to multiple sites within Leicester to complete maintenance and repair work.
- Utilise a company vehicle stocked with building materials and electrical plant.
- Receive and follow daily job allocations from the Works Planning team.
- Perform tasks within the city boundaries and manage time effectively across the day.
- Where needed, work overtime with prior notice and maintain safety standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Full valid driving licence.
- Experience in roofing is particularly sought after.
- Ability to work alone with support from a team leader and technical resources when required.
