We are seeking an exceptional Service Manager who is highly motivated to join our Estates and Building Services. This senior role will lead and drive effective property asset management services for the Division, including acquisitions, disposals, re‑purposing and optimisation of the Council's property estate.
Based in Leicester, you will operationally lead, manage and develop the Council's property asset base while also being part of a wider professional estates team focusing on and supporting you with Legal, Capital Delivery, Facilities Management and Performance Management Services.
This role offers significant career progression and the opportunity to take ownership of and drive the performance of both existing work and new business investment initiatives. You will be pivotal in optimising our property assets by focusing on acquisitions, disposals, repurposing, strategic investment, annual capital asset valuations, and driving management excellence.
You will lead and motivate a team of professional chartered surveyors. Ideally you will be a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and preferably a RICS Registered Valuer with significant post‑qualification experience. You will have managed large teams of Chartered Surveyors to deliver asset management services to a wide range of internal and external customers.
