Part Time / 15 Hours Per Week / Permanent
Join us to play a key role in providing quality neighbourhood services in Libraries and Multi-Service Centres across Leicester. As a Van Delivery Driver, your day begins at our operations and logistics hub in Beaumont Leys, where you will carry out daily and weekly routine and safety checks, including fire precautions. You'll check your vehicle is in a fit and serviceable condition. Being flexible in your approach, you will ensure that relevant library stock and equipment is delivered in a safe and timely manner. You make collections alongside your delivery route, managing your time and available resources, before returning to Beaumont Leys to unload and return your vehicle. While carrying out these duties, you will communicate with library colleagues, adapting to changing needs with an approachable, can-do attitude.
Appointment is subject to Full Standard (C1) Driving Licence. You will be working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and will need to be flexible and able to carry out additional hours/duties during busy periods for the service.
