Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve drinks and snacks in the bar before, during, and after events.
- Ensure stock availability.
- Carry out remedial cleaning and manual handling, including mopping up spills, cleaning touch points, loading and unloading dishwashers, collecting used glasses, and cleaning the bar.
- Handle cash and card transactions.
- Use excellent communication skills and high numeracy to calculate and reconcile tills.
- Serve customers quickly and accurately to ensure efficient service.
- Work flexible shifts (day and evening) from Monday to Sunday based on scheduled events.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a bar or catering environment.
- Experience with cash/card handling.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly numerate, able to reconcile tills.
- Minimum age of 18 years old (must be over 18 to serve alcoholic drinks).
