When care and support is required, we work collaboratively with people to find solutions to live their lives as independently as possible. With experience in Occupational Therapy, you’ll demonstrate an empathetic and person-centred approach to be able to assess and arrange provision of equipment for daily living to adults and children and young people.

A confident communicator, with excellent skills of diplomacy and persuasion you’ll be able to navigate complex, challenging situations and build effective working relationships. Your passion to make a positive change will show your ability to understand and value the differences in the diverse groups of people and develop solutions for people and families that meet their individual needs.

Working proactively as an advanced autonomous practitioner, you’ll have excellent prioritisation and time management skills. You’ll hold a degree/diploma in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). You’ll have expert knowledge of occupational therapy methodologies, social care policies and relevant legislation including The Care Act, Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, Children's Act and Disabled Facilities Grant.

Appointment will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check. In addition, a Driving Licence is preferred however, if this isn’t something you have, you must be able to travel to visit people in their homes across the city.
