Through a range of evidence-based interventions, we help people to stop smoking, become more physically active, manage alcohol consumption, and achieve healthier lifestyles.

We are recruiting a Live Well Coordinator (Community Engagement)

We are looking for passionate and motivated leaders who can inspire teams, drive performance, and support our vision of improving health outcomes for communities across Leicester.

What you'll be doing

As a Live Well Coordinator, you will provide effective leadership and management to a team of Advisors, ensuring high-quality services are delivered that achieve positive outcomes for clients and meet agreed performance targets and quality standards. You will use data, monitoring and audit information to evaluate service effectiveness, drive continuous improvement and support informed decision-making. The role also involves developing and supporting staff through performance management and professional development, while building strong partnerships with health organisations, community groups, Leicester City Council departments and other stakeholders. In addition, you will identify opportunities to enhance and develop services in response to local needs and emerging priorities, whilst effectively managing complaints, complex issues and escalated enquiries.

What you'll need

We are looking for experienced and inspirational leaders with a proven track record of managing and developing teams to deliver high-quality services and measurable outcomes. You will have strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate, support and develop staff to achieve their full potential. Experienced in driving service improvement and managing performance against targets, you will use data and insight to inform decision-making and enhance service delivery. With excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills, you will work effectively with a wide range of partners and stakeholders. Highly organised and resilient, you will be able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, whilst demonstrating a genuine commitment to reducing health inequalities and improving health outcomes for local community.

For the Community Engagement Coordinator role you will need experience of managing, coordinating or delivering community engagement programmes.
