What you’ll be doing:
- Engage with and meet adults you are supporting, as well as their employers, including autistic, neurodivergent, young people, offenders, and ex‑offenders.
- Complete vocational profiles and action plans to identify career aspirations and support needs.
- Assist individuals to apply for jobs, prepare for interviews and use appropriate communication methods and reasonable adjustments.
- Build relationships with employers, discuss upcoming job roles and potential adaptations.
- Support individuals in learning their new roles, provide work experience opportunities and record progress for DWP and stakeholders.
- Attend meetings, deliver presentations to teams and support promotion of the service at job fairs.
What you’ll need:
- Confident, passionate, resilient, adaptable with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with a wide range of people and employers.
- Experience supporting people with barriers to finding work and engaging employers to facilitate employment.
- Strong organisational, time‑management and multi‑priority management skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Subject to a DBS check.
