We have an exciting opportunity for valuation surveyors to join our dedicated commercially focused valuation and estates team who are responsible for work involving valuations, acquisitions, disposals, and the development and management of land and buildings. - Estate Valuation Surveyor - £42,839 - £46,142 per year
This is an open recruitment, and you will be contacted upon submission of your application & CV. Appointment to a level will depend on the outcome of the selection process and experience of the successful candidate.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll inspect and value property across a broad portfolio for letting, acquisition, disposal, property management and review purposes in line with RICS professional standards. You’ll undertake tasks associated with the financial management of capital, revenue income and expenditure budgets and service charges and evaluate proposals for transactions or schemes for existing property or new acquisitions to redefine the portfolio. You’ll also manage internal customers and tenants, dealing with day to day tenant enquiries relating to liabilities under their legal agreements such as repairs, use, service charges and rent payments.
What you’ll need:
You’ll be an experienced surveyor with a proven track record of property management including dealing with lettings, rent reviews, lease renewals and general estate management; as well as professional work including acquisition, valuation and disposals. An organised individual, you'll have strong communication and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to work under pressure. Full RICS Membership would be an added advantage.
