Are you looking to join our trees and woodlands team? We are looking for a reliable and proactive individual to help maintain our operational areas, ensuring they remain safe, organised, and efficient for daily use. As the base for the Council’s Trees & Woodlands Team, the Beaumont Park Depot plays a vital role in supporting essential environmental and grounds operations across the area.
This is a part time role working 5 days a week (08:30 – 14:00) on a permanent basis. You will be located at the Council's Beaumont Park Depot.
You will be a qualified plant operator, including forklift and tele-handler with loading shovel. Have a full driving licence. You will be able to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and complete basic documentation as required. You will be confident managing a wide range of deliveries to the depot and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including carrying out tasks involving manual handling. A good understanding of relevant health and safety practices is essential, along with the ability to work independently and carry out duties with minimal managerial supervision.
