The Production Operative is responsible for assisting in the manufacture and packaging of finished products to regulated requirements and in line with customer needs. This will include, but not limited to, reagent preparation, dispensing of product, label printing and application, conversion of ancillary products, completion of batch documentation, in process checks and basic SAP transactions. This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is part of the Production Department, located at Leica Biosystems Newcastle and is an onsite role.
In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To:
- Ensure all products flow through the manufacturing process error free and right first time.
- Actively participate in daily management activities taking ownership of any actions assigned.
- Speak up to ensure that any concerns around safety, quality or process are raised to a line manager.
The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include:
- Experience of working in a FMCG environment or other Production based environment that deals with high value small production run lines.
- Demonstrated experience of working within the constraints of a regulated industry preferably experience of FDA inspection processes and GMP.
- An awareness of ISO 9001:13485 or CGMP processes.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Working both as part of a team and as an individual for extended periods of time.
- Applying problem solving logic and can solve basic problems.
