The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and/or territory/region on products or services. Establishes professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts. Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars.

This role is a critical position responsible for generating revenue and market share for LBS products and services from customers in a defined territory of responsibility. The ideal candidate will live in or near Nottinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire or Peterborough.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Promote the full LBS product and services portfolio through customer visits, relationship building, and teamwork.
  • Develop account-based sales plans and strategies to grow the sales funnel via new opportunities, conference attendance, renewals, and tenders within the territory.
  • Utilise the DBS (Danaher Business System) and SFDC (Salesforce Dot Com) toolboxes in daily work.
  • Provide timely and accurate forecasts for orders and sales.
  • Supply information on market share, competitor activities, trends, and market developments in the geographic region.

What you’ll need to do the job:

  • Relevant and demonstrable sales/account management experience within a clinical and/or life science environment.
  • Preferably experience within histology/cellular pathology - especially in NHS and Research accounts.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build constructive and effective relationships both inside and outside the organization.
  • Full driving licence, with the ability to travel up to 60%.
