The Product Manager, Life Sciences & OEM Partnerships reports to the VP & GM - Advanced Assays and Centre for Excellence, & is accountable for driving profitable growth of the Antibody OEM business, owning OEM revenue, margin and customer retention outcomes. This role leads commercial strategy and execution across the OEM customer base: identifying and qualifying new opportunities, building and managing a sales pipeline, developing account plans, and negotiating commercial terms to expand share of wallet. In parallel, the role manages the commercial and operational interface to ensure customer expectations are met for delivery, quality and technical support, partnering cross-functionally to deliver on commitments and actively managing the OEM reagent lifecycle (including launch of new offerings and phase‑out of obsolete products). The role is based on-site at Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To:

  • Own and grow the global OEM commercial business across IHC and Molecular reagents, delivering revenue, margin, growth and retention targets through effective account management, pricing and deal execution.
  • Drive OEM business development by identifying, qualifying and closing new customer opportunities, building a robust global pipeline and leading proposals, negotiations and long‑term agreements.
  • Lead OEM commercial strategy, including customer segmentation, value propositions, pricing and discount strategy, competitive intelligence, forecasting and CRM discipline.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Legal to deliver customer‑driven product extensions, custom OEM solutions and profitable, on‑time launches.
  • Own end‑to‑end product lifecycle management for OEM portfolios, from business case development and stage‑gate launches through post‑launch performance, portfolio optimisation and product phase‑out.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include:

  • Proven Business to Business sales experience in Medical Diagnostics / Life Sciences, ideally in an OEM, reagents, consumables or components business model.
  • Demonstrated key account management capability, including account planning, stakeholder mapping, and execution of QBRs and joint business plans.
  • Strong commercial acumen in the Anatomic Pathology Diagnostics space, with experience in value‑based selling, pricing/discount strategy, and negotiation of OEM commercial terms.
  • Strong track record of closing complex Business to Business deals, including contract negotiation, pricing governance, and cross‑functional alignment through to order and delivery.
  • Graduate or post‑graduate qualifications in business or related discipline.

Travel Requirements:

Willingness to travel to customer sites, conferences, and trade shows as needed (approx. 30%).

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience selling into the Biomedical / Medical Device / Cancer Diagnostics industry preferred, including comfort with forecasting, pipeline management and CRM.
