We are seeking to appoint a team of site security officers to work alongside our well established portering team. These are newly created posts and the primary responsibility will be to fulfil firewarden and site security duties, alongside the daily portering duties required to maintain a high standard of service throughout the hospital.
Post Details
Post is 35 hours a week and successful applicants will need to be able to work flexibly within a 24 hour period, although the rota is predominantly night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular fire checks throughout the shift and address or escalating any issues as they arise.
- Perform site security checks, ensuring the building has been properly secured and remains so overnight.
- Routine portering duties.
Qualifications
- Driving licence to drive Health Board vehicles is essential for this role.
- Ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post. If you do not meet the Welsh Language requirements specified, the Health Board offers a variety of learning options and staff support to help you meet these minimal desirable requirements during the course of your employment with us.
