Lehrman Cameron Studio, LLC invites applications for a fixed‑term training contract of 24 months / secondment until 31 January 2028. The role offers 70 % of the top rate of Band 4 in year one and 75 % in year two, or a salary range of £27,898‑£30,615 per annum.

Summary: The post is a training contract providing the opportunity to gain the experience and qualifications required to register as a pharmacy technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). The position is located at Withybush General Hospital, Haverfordwest, and involves dispensing for in‑patients and out‑patients, purchasing and distribution, and ward‑based work. Welsh speaking is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in a 24‑month apprenticeship to achieve the Level 4 Certificate of Higher Education in Pharmacy Technician Practice.
  • Work full time (37.5 hrs per week) in a pharmacy setting, building a portfolio of evidence and completing work‑based assessment.
  • Engage in online learning, study days, group work and adhere to GPhC Standards for Pharmacy Professionals.
  • Commit to studying outside working hours and meet deadlines set during the training programme.
  • Support development under Annex 21 with a development plan and supervision.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 GCSEs grade A*‑C (new grades 9‑4) or equivalent, including English, Maths and one Science.
  • Evidence of Essential Skills Wales communication level 2 and application of number level 2 (if applying under equivalence).
  • For non‑exempt candidates, completion of Essential Skills Wales digital literacy at level 2.
  • Previous pharmacy or customer‑service experience is desirable but not essential.
