This is a Fixed Term/Secondment vacancy for 12 months until 14/2/27 due to maternity cover. If you are a Hywel Dda University Health Board employee and are applying for this post as a secondment, agreement for the secondment is needed from your current manager prior to application. This post is full time and includes working long days and weekend working.
Location: Withybush Hospital, Haverfordwest. Interviews to be held on 12/2/2026.
Responsibilities
As part of this dedicated, friendly and supportive team, you will be expected to assist clinical staff during examinations, rotating through multiple areas within Radiology. You will assist with scans, be directly involved with patient care, maintain the unit's stock and perform other general clerical and clinical duties. This is a full time position in a busy Radiology Department that serves a large geographical area.
Qualifications and requirements
It is essential that you enjoy working with people and have great communication skills. You must have patience and be methodical, work well in a team but have the ability to take initiative and work individually. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply. The Health Board supports bilingualism and offers learning options to help meet minimal language requirements during employment.
The post is a fixed term/secondment until 14/2/27. If applying as a secondment, ensure agreement from your current manager is obtained prior to application.
