An opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Health Care Support Worker (HCSW), part time 30 hours per week to join our School Nursing Team in Pembrokeshire, working term time only. The post is in Haverfordwest and surrounding area. This is an exciting time to be involved in School Nursing as we are implementing the new refreshed 2017 Welsh Government's 'A Framework for a School Nursing Service in Wales'.
Main duties of the job include:
- School Nurses are central to a range of services that promote public health and support the physical, emotional and social health of children and young people aged between 5 to 18 years.
- Contribute to a healthy school culture.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply. Interviews will be held on 16/12/2025.

Essential Qualifications & Knowledge:- Minimum of 5 GCSE's or equivalent
- NVQ Level 3 Childcare or equivalent
- Ability to use a number of office software programmes
- Awareness of Child Protection Procedures
- Childcare experience - voluntary or paid
- Experience of working in a caring environment.
- Experience using CH 2000 computer programme or equivalent
