This post is a Fixed Term/Secondment until 31.12.26. If you are a Hywel Dda University Health Board employee and are applying for this post as a secondment, agreement for the secondment is needed from your current manager prior to application. We are currently seeking maternity cover within our Recruitment Department for the Consultant and General Practitioner (GP) Medical Recruitment team based at Carmarthen. You will be required to work flexibly within the Recruitment Team, whilst supporting the Recruitment Advisor and Senior Recruitment Advisor in delivering an efficient, effective, and safe recruitment process.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and guidance to the team, co‑ordinating and allocating workload and training new team members.
  • Supervise day-to-day of the recruitment team.
  • Provide support to the Resourcing Advisor to ensure recruitment processes within the Health Board are efficient, effective and safe.
  • Work with a variety of stakeholders and hold the Health Board values at the centre of daily transactions.
  • Assist in transforming the recruitment pathway, ensuring a personalised service for all engaged.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience in recruitment, preferably within medical or healthcare settings.
  • Ability to work flexibly and support a busy team.
  • Strong communication skills and person‑centred approach.
  • Desirable to speak Welsh; English and/or Welsh speakers are welcome.
  • Experience in recruitment process supervision and training of team members.
  • Commitment to upholding the Health Board values.
