Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a full-time 3-month HR Intern to join our team at the Reading site. This internship provides hands‐on exposure to core HR functions and is ideal for a student pursuing a degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
This is a site‐based role supporting the HR team with day‐to‐day coordination, administration, and project support activities.

Role, What Will You Do?
- Assist in filing, organising, and maintaining employee documentation and digital HR records
- Update and maintain employee data in HR systems, SharePoint, and Excel trackers
- Support compliance checks, right‐to‐work documentation, and audit preparation
- Assist in managing confidential employee files and maintaining GDPR standards
- Prepare welcome packs, and induction schedules
- Help coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communication
- Support HR‐led initiatives such as engagement activities, recognition programs, and employee surveys
- Draft basic HR communications (email templates, notices, reminders)
- Support meeting scheduling, minute‐taking, and follow‐up actions
- Assist with office admin tasks such as document formatting, printing, organising files, and supplies tracking
Qualifications
Education: Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, Operations, or a related field
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work with confidential information in a professional manner
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, basic formulas, filtering) and PowerPoint (slides, formatting)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work collaboratively within a team
