Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Sales Director Critical Power, Northern Europe to join the Data Center Power and Control (DPC) - Starline Team in Netherlands. Responsible for introducing, developing, and implementing the LDCS Critical Power strategy in the target market "Datacenter" in Northern Europe.
What Will You Do?
- Develop proactive lead generation and a solid deliverable pipeline of new and growth business.
- Use commercial expertise for product development and business development.
- Develop and agree a sales strategy for Northern Europe region for "Critical Power".
- Establish influential relationships with new customers by introducing LDCS Europe as a company with focus on grey space, Critical Power.
- Maintain and build on existing client relationships by expanding and developing the relationship throughout their Europe market sector networks.
- Maintain and provide feedback on up-to-date knowledge of the market activity and potential impact on key target sectors.
- Identify potential for partnership / alliances within the supply chain.
- Ensure LDCS Europe, Critical Power is specified on tender lists.
- Advise, agree and manage a range of promotional activities to support the profile of the business development activities.
- Frequently interact with the "LDCS IT-Infrastructure" team to establish and maintain multi-level engagement between the two departments.
- Ensure local pipeline management delivers "CWV forecast quality" data.
- Annual business planning via business maps.
- Weekly/continuous forecasting via com.
- Give input to development of processes, and ensure they are followed throughout sales front office organizations.
- Day to day team management.
- Regular reporting to VP Critical Power of LDCS Europe.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Regular attendance of Monthly sales meeting.
- Establish and develop multi-channel sales strategy.
- Develop regional sales channels, including selecting new representatives, establishing geographic prioritization, developing representative selection criteria, representative relationship support and management, development and administration of representative contracts, pricing strategy, training methods, and support programs.
- Develop and implement target data center end user account strategy.
- Negotiate contracts and assist in their administration.
- Create proposals, sales letters and prepare and deliver presentations.
- Monitor regional market trends and identify impact on product development and suggest new products and services to promote and market within strategic global markets.
- Establish annual budget and adhere to approved budget guidelines.
- Establish and maintain database of regional contacts and accounts and maintain all records and opportunities in salesforce within the company guidelines.
- Coordinate sales operations with all other departments/divisions of the Company.
- Assist with exportation requirements.
- Assist with regional trade account receivables and coordinate with Credit Manager and Accounts Receivable.
- Represent the company at industry tradeshows and events.
Qualifications Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field of study.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- 10 years of sales experience primarily in B2B environments.
- Experience in developing and executing strategic and tactical.
Location: Preferably based in Netherlands.
