First Aiders are responsible for the administration of immediate assistance to anyone within the Resort who is injured or suddenly taken ill, prior to the arrival of the emergency services. Successful candidates should be proactive, excellent communicators and remain calm when faced with incidents or medical emergencies.

Main Responsibility

The First Aid department's role is to aid our guests or colleagues if a medical problem occurs. This is completed through the provision of a trained First Aider to respond to any incidents involving injury or illness within the Resort. This includes the quick and safe assessment of the situation and identification of the casualties' symptoms to prevent any further danger/injury to that person or others. Once the injury/illness has been identified then the appropriate treatment will be administered and/or arrangements will be made to transport the casualty to hospital should this be necessary. The First Aid department is based within the First Aid facility, but the role does also involve deployment around the Resort. The First Aider provides brilliant guest service through a genuine interest in others, is attentive, friendly, reliable with a strong work ethic. The First Aid department is a focal point for guests and colleagues and a distinctive uniform is provided. You will also support the Security team regarding the care and reuniting of all lost children and their families.

Qualifications & Experience

Due to the nature of this role a valid First Aid at Work Qualification is required (FAW). Full Driving License is desirable.
