This is a dynamic and pivotal role that connects data to our marketing strategy, investments and impact. As the Senior Manager, Marketing Operations and Enablement, you will work at the heart of the DCE Marketing and Orchestration team, helping us to deliver exceptional marketing results. You will support operational end-to-end excellence in our marketing planning and enhanced commercial outcomes in delivery. You will be working with a variety of teams and marketing disciplines to use data, insights and technology to help make practical spend, funnel and KPI recommendations across LEGO's owned and earned ecosystem channels.

The role will also maintain a clear line of sight across our audiences and channels, bringing campaigns, acquisition and user journey learnings into a holistic understanding across marketing touch points. Through this end-to-end view, you'll be able to bring a 'systems thinking' approach to recommending new measurement and Martech capabilities to enhance marketing effectiveness.

To be successful, you will have a strong understanding of marketing processes and be comfortable with dissecting data and insights. You’ll be a brilliant communicator and storyteller, able to simply build simple narratives to influence key stakeholders. You will become a trusted voice and strategic partner to the Marketing Leadership team by supporting data-informed decision making and building commercial narratives that represent marketing value and impact to the broader business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead annual KPI setting for the marketing team and agree priority Marketing operating metrics to prioritise and track.

  • Translate company performance measures, insights and analytics from our partners into marketing recommendations, action plans and priority workstreams that aligns with business and DCE objectives

  • Partner with our data and analytics team to analyze key campaigns, user journeys and acquisition/paid media efforts to pinpoint major opportunities and guide progress.

  • Support marketing budget decision making bringing consistency and oversight to the team. Ensure effective spend tracking with ROI measures and efficient management, working closely with finance and other DCE teams where required.

  • Support annual marketing planning, working with our global marketing and market development teams. Support local BU recommendations with a clear and compelling commercial storyline and lead business cases for new initiatives.

  • Recommend and oversee targeted research and marketing testing programs to improve ROI and accelerate our learning and expertise.

  • Support our marketing technology stack for acquisition. Identify where we have data / tracking requirements and lead priority projects with product and other functions to improve tools and workflow to the marketing pipeline. Work with external providers to improve external service levels and performance

  • Identify and define benchmarks for new strategic marketing initiatives.

  • Own operational connections with expanding channels and new initiatives to aid marketing opportunity from launch

  • Bring a performance focus to our marketing planning process and help streamline ways of working and reporting.

  • Be a key contributing member of our Marketing Leadership team, team culture and decision making.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Has held previous marketing roles with experience in audience segmentation, marketing funnel and user journeys. Comes with a strong understanding of marketing processes, channels and platforms.

  • Proven ability to define and lead marketing KPIs and performance frameworks, aligning with business objectives.

  • A commercial mindset with the ability to translate data, insights, and analytics into actionable marketing plans, bringing a commercial mindset to all that we do.

  • Comfortable with Martech stacks, including the integration of new tools and tracking and management of vendor relationships to improve marketing knowledge and performance.

  • Proven ability to streamline marketing operations, simplify workflows and improve team efficiencies

  • Experience leading test-and-learn programs to improve performance and unlock new growth opportunities.

  • Skilled at translating complex data and insights into a simple compelling storyline to drive desired outcomes.

  • Effective contributor at a leadership level with the ability to influence decision-making across the matrix and align stakeholders.

  • Organised, efficient and process driven, comfortable with driving change.

  • Previous experience in data analytics and performance marketing will be a bonus
