Become part of our Digital Technology Finance team, partnering with key business areas to enable our broader digital transformation. As a Finance Business Partner at the LEGO Group, you will support colleagues in a strategic and analytical role.
Core Responsibilities
- Finance Business Partner for two major Digital Technology areas for the LEGO Group, being the challenger/gatekeeper and sounding board on financial risk/opportunities and digital investments while ensuring strong financial foundations in spend optimisation, planning and governance.
- Build a trusted partnership and act as a sparring partner for the business leaders and their LTs.
- Ensure our base spending is well governed, understood and optimised, supporting your business partners to identify and deliver productivity opportunities in the short and long term.
- Provide decision making support for our development investments, including challenging objectively to ensure all our spending is necessary, optimised and aligned with the investment objectives.
- Collaborate with the Digital FP&A team to understand and ensure validity and transparency of the financial position and operational narrative of your business areas including risks and opportunities, leveraging standard processes, reports & tools.
Do you have what it takes?
- A degree or equivalent experience is not a prerequisite, but you must have the ability to demonstrate competence in financial matters and proficiency in management accounting.
- Extensive experience in working with finance business partnering and/or financial planning and analysis.
- Collaboration and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with good proven track record of being able to develop recommendations from financial and data insights.
- Proficient in digital technology methodologies and practices like Agile, and Total Cost of Ownership.
- Familiar with digital and technology program costs.
