Are you a hands-on digital storyteller with a newsroom instinct, someone who can spot uplifting and inspiring stories and create engaging quality content across the LEGO Group’s own news channels? The LEGO Group is one of the world’s most reputable and well-loved brands, and we are looking for an experienced, hands-on digital content manager to help make this happen. This is a creator role. You will develop content, from first draft to final publish, working closely with communications colleagues and subject matter experts to source and shape stories across product and manufacturing innovation, workplace and factory investment stories, sustainability, and leadership storytelling.
The role reports to the head of Corporate Communications. You will collaborate closely with colleagues as well as the wider Corporate Brand Communications team. Together, you will deliver the editorial calendar and day-to-day content creation.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop corporate content from idea to publication: find strong angles and turn ideas into clear, audience-first storytelling across the LEGO.com Newsroom, LinkedIn and other social channels, with content built for each platform.
- Run a disciplined editorial cadence: deliver at pace without compromising quality, accuracy, or judgement.
- Collaborate with speed and rigour: partner with colleagues and experts across the business to gather input quickly, manage approvals, and maintain high standards of accuracy, LEGO tone of voice and governance.
- Drive reach and engagement: Apply practical SEO, GEO and platform optimisation to increase reach and engagement.
- Use data insights to improve performance: track results and turn learnings into better formats, visuals and channel choices.
This is a fantastic opportunity to bring new skills to the team and help us evolve our storytelling, so it stays trustworthy, engaging and refreshingly relevant for our audiences in a rapidly changing media landscape.
Do you have what it takes?
- Proven track record: creating digital content at pace in a newsroom, publisher, platform environment, or with a global brand.
- Platform-native storytelling: creating the right content for the right platform and understanding what works across formats.
- Hook-first thinking: strong instincts for what makes people stop, click and engage combined with an editorial nose for a good story.
- Outstanding writer: (native-level English, written and spoken) able to move effortlessly between short-form copy, longer posts/articles, video scripts and executive voice.
- Data-informed creativity: experience using data to inform content creation that is optimised for platform algorithms and LLMs.
- Strong reputational judgement: understanding of what’s sensitive and high risk and able to shape content to protect and strengthen brand trust.
- Natural collaborator and self-starter: confident working across stakeholders and moving work forward.
What’s in it for you?
- Family Care Leave: We offer enhanced paid leave options for those important times.
- Insurances: All colleagues are covered by our life and disability insurance which provides protection and peace of mind.
- Wellbeing: We want our people to feel well and thrive. We offer resources and benefits to nurture physical and mental wellbeing along with opportunities to build community and inspire creativity.
