Core Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the implementation of the channel strategy within the Business Unit (BU).
- Lead and drive global processes and planning by carrying out the BU Integrated Commercial Plan (ICP), Customer Joint Business Planning (CBP) process and the annual Customer Pulse.
- Lead and drive the new portfolio segmentation process in partnership with Marketing teams.
- Support optimization of trade investments in the BU via the implementation of customer segmentation model and Multi-Channel Pricing framework (partnering with Finance).
- Develop and deploy the sales training capability agenda for the BU Sales Team.
- Oversee the implementation of Globally developed Sales tech, tools and processes via a clear change management deployment programme.
- Partner with BU Finance to lead the Business Unit Trade Investment Review and budget management process.
- Drive strategic projects in relation to markets and channels.
- Contribute to the BU commercial agenda as part of the IEA BU Leadership Team.
- Work within the newly developed Global to Regional Commercial Development function demonstrating direction and support from the Channel & Functional stakeholders within the function.

The India & Emerging Asia Business area is set up to accelerate growth in the emerging toy markets in Asia. Among them India, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, and Vietnam. These markets hold the largest growth potential in the LEGO Group in the coming decade and is expected to drive growth and innovation in APAC. We are already delivering best in class business growth, however we are continually building our commercial expertise as we develop the emerging markets.
The Regional Commercial Development function is responsible for translating the Global Commercial Development (GCD) agenda into regional and BU priorities in addition to identifying specific plans and initiatives aligned to the global commercial strategy. This includes partnering with the BU’s to build and implement the commercial plans locally. The RCD department responsibilities include channel strategy and expansion, sales processes and planning, regional account management, portfolio segmentation, revenue management, sales capability building plus the deployment of sales tools and system planning.
Do you have what it takes?
- Minimum 5+ years experience in Sales, Key Account Management, Commercial Consultancy and/or Customer Marketing roles.
- Experience in Consumer Goods companies an advantage.
- Ability to lead and influence collaborators at all levels, playing both a challenger and supporter role.
- Proven capability to act as a strategic sparring partner to senior leaders.
- Strategic approach with strong commercial competence.
- Self-starter with an ability to work through ambiguity.
- Experience operating in a regional or multi-market role; SEA and/or India exposure preferred.
- Flexibility for international travel when required.
- Exposure to regional or cross-market roles within matrixed organisations.
- Thrives in collaborative, cross-functional team settings.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
