Core Responsibilities
- Employee Engagement & Relations: Case management of the employee relations cases that are escalated/reported. Advice and support managers and employees to build a great working environment. Building the knowledge & database for employee relations (e.g., performance management, disciplinary practices) in APAC.
- Compliance: Interact closely with HR, Legal, and external parties to ensure that HR policies and processes are in compliance with laws. Regularly assess and partner with the legal team to recommend changes to existing policies and draft and/or develop new policies based on legislative and regulatory developments, provide direction, notification and communication to employees and managers. Lead subject area process and records. Collaborate with Global in rolling out regional policies. Perform periodic audits to maintain compliance obligations and work with HR and Business teams to implement the recommendations and action plans resulting from audits. Collaborate with Business Service Operations (BSO)/Payroll on completing outcomes of cases.
- Other HR Tasks/Projects: Work closely with PPC Director on developing, implementing and evaluating various PPC programs, HR functions and activities (D&I, G3P). Work on Singapore Hub engagement related activities and projects. Coach/advise Site leads across APAC on consistent employee relations management. Ensure right capability & proficiencies of ER team. Partner and provide support to People Partners of global functions having their teams in Singapore on ER agenda and employee cases.
Do you have what it takes:
- 8 years of Employee Relations experience and Site HR role (driving similar responsibilities as above).
- Understanding of APAC Labour Market (Priority focus on Singapore, Australia/NZ).
- Strong communication skills both written & verbal.
- Very strong collaboration management & collaborative influencing.
- Experience in D&I work, Employee engagement, Organizational change will be a plus.
