Are you ready to join the dynamic and bold Government and Public Affairs (GPA) Team in the LEGO Group in Europe?
Here’s an awesome job opportunity to provide outstanding stakeholder relationship management for a world-famous brand, whilst helping to grow our reach and make real impact with governments and in turn, hands on learning in classrooms across Europe!
Core Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyse, and disseminate legislative and policy trends on core public policy education issues in Europe important to LEGO Education and LEGO entities.
- Develop and deploy a targeted European government affairs strategy, initially focusing on Germany, to advance policies supporting equitable access to high-quality education, emphasizing STEAM and hands-on learning through LEGO Education’s solutions.
- Design, lead, and implement engagement events with policymakers, educators, and decision-makers in Germany and other key European markets (e.g., Spain and Italy) to drive advocacy efforts, support LEGO Group’s annual activations, and advance policy recommendations for learning through play.
- Collaborate across LEGO Education, LEGO Brand entities, and internal functions to enhance corporate reputation and commercial objectives, reaching more children with hands-on learning in priority European markets.
- Lead and optimise partnerships, associations, and coalitions to enhance LEGO Education’s impact and thought leadership, while developing strong relationships with political, regulatory, civil society, and business communities.

This team focuses on issues across EMEA specifically related to business priorities and our social responsibility agenda. The team delivers impact through driving market specific plans in the region to enable our operations, while achieving our mission of inspiring the builders of tomorrow.
Do you have what it takes?
- Proven ability to drive government and public affairs programmes, with experience in achieving public policy objectives and delivering outcomes within global or local organisations or government institutions.
- High integrity, prioritizing the best interests of the company and children, and capable of working independently with strong prioritisation skills.
- Excellent collaborator with success in matrix organizations, adopting a One Team approach, and possessing a robust network, combined with the ability to establish relationships with governments, and other external partners.
- Background and strong interest in education, early childhood, STEAM development, curriculum, and assessment, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred studies in public policy, government affairs, law, education, or related fields, though equivalent experience is considered. Language skills required: sophisticated English and German, with additional European languages (French, Italian, or Spanish) as a bonus.
