Job Description

Be part of the team bringing the LEGO Brand and the creativity of the LEGO Brick to life through storytelling for generations of fans to enjoy.

As the media landscape continues to change and evolve, LEGO Entertainment has become one of our most effective ways to reach audiences. It is essential that we effectively translate data into actionable insights to continue to drive performance. This role will provide thought leadership that helps to drive ongoing effective innovation, as well as help to identify and evaluate new opportunities.

Note: No relocation support is offered for this position.

Core Responsibilities

The mandate of the role is to drive long-term Entertainment strategy based on insights and data, to continue to fully leverage LEGO Entertainment as a key vehicle to build the LEGO Brand and business.

Specific responsibilities will include:

Entertainment Strategy and Process

  1. Drive development of long-term LEGO Entertainment Strategy and business plan, both standalone and feeding into overall corporate Plans, where Branded Entertainment will continue to be a key pillar to driving audience engagement and building brand love.
  2. Identify new long-term entertainment opportunities and build recommendations on new business models and investment strategies.
  3. Key member of Entertainment Content LT, providing strategic insights and foundation to core teams to support ongoing innovation.

Entertainment Insights, Measurement and Tracking

  1. Refine measurable KPI’s for entertainment content and build insight roadmap, linking overall analytics and measurement tools with performance.
  2. Create and manage robust ongoing measurement and dashboard to track performance.
  3. Lead sharing of Insights and key takeaways broadly across our Product & Marketing Development (PMD) and Markets & Channels (M&C) departments regarding Entertainment content and the impact on the brand to drive even higher impact.
  4. Mine data and leverage deep industry knowledge to provide relevant and actionable insights to continue to improve performance of entertainment content.

Entertainment Marketing Strategy & Driving Viewership of LEGO Entertainment Content

  1. Provide direction and input on using Entertainment content to strategically deliver to brand & franchise objectives.
  2. Spearhead initiatives with PMD and M&C collaborators to optimize and drive viewership of our entertainment content.

The LEGO Entertainment Partners and Content (EPC) team provides thought leadership, innovation and expertise regarding storytelling, licensing and branded entertainment and builds best-in-class relationships within the global entertainment & licensing community.

Entertainment content for the LEGO Brand is a key driver of engagement and contributes to building the LEGO Brand and creating fandom. This role will work closely with the SVP EPC and the Entertainment Content Leadership Team (LT) to identify new opportunities to continue to expand the LEGO Entertainment footprint.

This role will also spearhead the EPC Content LT and help facilitate with the LT the creation of a pipeline of high-quality entertainment experiences that are aligned with long-term LEGO brand and business objectives.

Do you have what it takes?

  1. Extensive experience in strategy development, particularly with relevant experience in the entertainment industry and deep industry knowledge.
  2. Significant direct experience in development and execution of entertainment strategy.
  3. Proficient knowledge and deep understanding of the current evolving media landscape.
  4. Demonstrated experience translating data into actionable insights and development of performance tracking.
  5. Familiarity with Advanced Analytics methodologies and practices.
  6. Outstanding communication skills. A standout colleague who thrives in a collaborative work environment with a global perspective and appreciation for different cultures.
  7. Highly organized, self-directed, and self-sufficient.
