We’re looking for a strategic Analytics & Insights Partner to join our central Analytics & Insights team — partnering directly with our LEGO Certified Retail Stores (LCS) business to put data at the heart of every decision. If you thrive where analytics, storytelling, and commercial impact intersect — and know how to influence decisions across global teams — this role is for you. You’ll help shape growth narratives, uncover new opportunities, and build smarter, insight-led strategies for our franchise-led retail portfolio.

LEGO Certified Stores are fully branded LEGO retail spaces, owned and operated by our network of Franchise Partners — with 1,000 stores expected globally by 2026. In this role, you’ll help build the critical capabilities that make these stores the ultimate brand and shopping experience for LEGO fans around the world.

We offer a hybrid working model called Best of Both, with 3 days in the office and 2 from home. Please note: relocation support is not available for this position.

Core Responsibilities

  • Business Performance Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analysis into business performance metrics, identifying trends, patterns, and outliers to uncover growth opportunities and potential risks.
  • Advanced Analytics & Forecasting: Utilise statistical, mathematical, and predictive modeling techniques to forecast market dynamics, assess economic conditions, and support scenario planning.
  • Data Architecture & Models: Develop data frameworks, visualization dashboards, and analytical models that enable scalable insights and decision-making.
  • Integrated Insights: Combine internal performance metrics with market, competitive, shopper, and macroeconomic data to deliver a holistic view of business health and identify areas for improvement.
  • Strategic Storytelling: Translate complex data insights into clear, compelling narratives that influence collaborators and drive actionable decisions aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborative Partnerships: Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, finance, and operations to align insights with business strategies and ensure data-informed execution.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Experience in retail analytics dealing with store performance and manipulating data to develop compelling arguments would be preferable.
  • Relevant retail industry sector knowledge or experience of working in a consultancy supporting retailers.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Expertise in SQL, Python, and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Data Strategy & Modeling: Strong understanding of data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) and ability to develop statistical models for scenario analysis and performance measurement.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Aptitude for breaking down complex problems and applying analytical frameworks to generate solutions.
  • Storytelling with Data: Ability to create compelling narratives that align insights with business priorities and influence stakeholders.
  • Commercial Acumen: Deep understanding of business performance drivers, market trends, and consumer behavior to provide insights that impact commercial strategies.
