Are you a strategic social media leader with a passion for connecting global audiences through meaningful storytelling? Do you thrive in B2B environments where education, creativity and community intersect? LEGO Education is looking for a Senior Social Media Manager to lead its social media strategy and execution across owned channels — elevating how we connect with educators, partners, and influencers around the world!

Please note: No relocation assistance is offered for this position. This is an Individual Contributor position. The role is available at Billund HQ or London HUB. Our hybrid working model is 3 days office/2 days home weekly.

As Senior Social Media Manager, you will be the strategic owner of LEGO Education’s social media presence. You will define where social fits in our brand ecosystem, build how we show up, and ensure our social channels deliver impact across awareness, engagement, advocacy and long‑term relationship building with key audiences.

Core Responsibilities
  • Develop & Drive Strategy – Define and implement the end‑to‑end social media strategy rooted in business goals, audience insights, competitive landscape and brand positioning.
  • Plan and Execute – Lead strategic content planning across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, YouTube, TikTok and emerging channels), ensuring cadence, relevance and resonance with our B2B and educator communities.
  • Social Listening & Insight – Own social listening, trend analysis, audience behaviours and competitor activity — using insights to drive continuous optimisation and strategic recommendations.
  • Measurement & KPIs – Establish and lead important critical metrics and measurement frameworks reporting on performance, return on investment and insights that influence brand, campaigns and communications.
  • Influencer & Partnership Collaboration – Identify, engage and lead strategic relationships with relevant influencers and creators that elevate LEGO Education’s presence in the right ecosystems.
  • Cross‑Functional Partnership – Work closely with paid digital, media relations, PR, and brand/campaign teams to ensure social is coordinated into broader media plans and business priorities.
  • Channel Performance Ownership – Use tools such as OPAL, Sprinklr and internal measurement systems to monitor performance, streamline workflows and optimise for impact.
  • Evolve Our Approach – Make clear recommendations on what to start, stop and continue developing an efficient, outstanding social approach for a globally recognised brand.

You are an expert social media strategist with a track record of success driving social initiatives in a B2B or hybrid B2B/B2C environment. You combine analytical rigor with creative curiosity, and you know how to translate business goals into actionable social plans.

Do you have what it takes?
  • 5+ years of social media leadership, preferably within B2B, agency or global brand contexts.
  • Deep understanding of platform ecosystems, social guidelines, and evolving digital trends.
  • Experience with social listening, social management platforms (e.g., Sprinklr), analytics tools and campaign measurement.
  • Strong strategic thinking paired with a hands‑on approach; you can set strategy and help activate it.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, comfortable presenting to senior partners.
  • Experience with influencer & creator collaboration and community building.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach — able to partner with cross‑functional teams.

Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis. However, please note we do amend or withdraw our jobs and reserve the right to do so at any time, including prior to any advertised closing date. So, if you’re interested in this role we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

  • Wellbeing – We want our people to feel well and thrive. We offer resources and benefits to nurture physical and mental wellbeing along with opportunities to build community and inspire creativity.
  • Colleague Discount – We know you’ll love to build, so from day 1 you will qualify for our generous colleague discount.
