We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Paralegal with experience in the video game or entertainment industry to join our Legal & Business Affairs team. In this role, you will be part of a lean, high‑impact legal function, working directly with the Head of Legal & Business Affairs of LDP and leading on a diverse range of legal, commercial & operational matters. This is therefore a rare and unique opportunity to take real ownership of legal workstreams from day one, helping to shape and contribute to the Legal & Business Affairs function. This is a fast‑paced, hands‑on role suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and able to work with autonomy. You will play a critical role in supporting the business as it scales, ensuring legal excellence while enabling speed and innovation. You will also gain broad experience across a wide range of legal areas, collaborating closely with LDP ELT and colleagues across LEGO Holding, KIRKBI and the LEGO Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • NDA support: Managing NDA workflows and negotiating NDAs.
  • Legal support: Hands‑on legal support to help execute LDP’s product, publishing and marketing strategies. Includes coordinating and delivering legal support throughout the product lifecycle, collaborating closely with teams across business units to understand release schedules and provide legal & compliance support.
  • Contract & playbook support: Maintaining, reviewing and negotiating certain commercial contracts, including license agreements, services agreements, consulting agreements, & software licenses and creating and maintaining related playbooks.
  • Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM): Support the implementation, configuration and optimisation of the CLM, collaborating closely with various business units.
  • Data privacy and online safety: Support the business on privacy and online safety reviews of products & services. Assist with the continued development of LDP’s privacy and safety‑by‑design programmes including assessments and training.
  • Corporate Compliance support: Maintaining and updating LDP policies to ensure continued corporate compliance. Assist in the implementation and delivery of policy training at scale.
  • External legal counsel coordination: Assist in coordinating with external legal counsel to facilitate effective project management of live workstreams, including tracking matters, supporting billing processes.
  • Corporate secretarial support: Preparing and drafting key corporate governance documents, including board meeting agendas and board minutes, and assistance to the company secretary and business teams with entity filings and legal aspects of board meeting planning.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience as a paralegal or a similar role in intellectual property or media/entertainment law. In‑house experience is preferable but not a requirement.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisation skills, able to manage multiple, diverse workstreams in a fast‑paced environment and prioritise effectively with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Collaborate with a genuine sense of curiosity.
  • Proactive, solutions‑focused and adaptable mindset with a willingness to take ownership and drive workstreams independently.
  • Experience in gaming or entertainment industry is a plus.
