Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 + Car + Benefits
The Company: An established and growing supplier of building materials is expanding its market presence and developing a new sales strategy to drive specification and commercial sales . With recent investment into new production capabilities, this business is looking for a proactive sales leader to develop a clear commercial strategy, increase product demand, and build relationships with key industry players.
The Role: This is a newly created position where you\’ll take full commercial responsibility for a range of high-performance building materials . You will be responsible for increasing demand by working directly with contractors , engaging architects through CPD presentations, and expanding the distributor network. Over time, you will also work to develop direct-to-market opportunities for these products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and execute a national sales strategy that drives demand and revenue growth.
- Engage with key contractors to ensure the product range becomes their preferred choice.
- Develop and deliver CPD presentations to architects to influence product specification in building designs.
- Strengthen distributor relationships while also identifying new sales channels and direct opportunities.
- Oversee the commercialization of additional specialist products within the construction and building sectors.
About You:
- Strong experience in construction product sales, ideally with experience in specification selling or working with contractor networks.
- The ability to develop and implement a strategic sales plan and drive commercial growth.
- A confident presenter, able to engage and educate architects through CPDs.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently and take ownership of product sales.
- Knowledge of building envelope products or related construction materials would be beneficial.
