Hi We’re Legl.

Legl is building the operating system for modern legal services.

We help law firms and regulated businesses replace manual, fragmented workflows with intelligent software from client onboarding and compliance to payments, risk, and reporting.

Legal work is high-stakes - it’s regulated, complex, and deeply impactful - and our mission is to help regulated firms grow faster, run their businesses more profitably, manage risk intelligently, and deliver great client experiences

We’re backed by leading European VCs, scaling quickly, partnered with over 600 law firms including 50 of the UK’s top 200, launched in the UK and Australia - and entering our next phase of growth.

We Work Best When

  • AI is the central-operating model: not a tool or a future plan - but the way we run.

  • Decisions live with people: you're trusted to make calls and own them.

  • Think deeply, execute quickly: speed and rigour, not speed or rigour.

What You’ll Do

We have collapsed a lot of the boundaries between product and engineering – product managers ship code; engineers plan products, and we have a collaborative and supportive approach to upskilling and working together. That means the pace is very fast.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager who can bring a commercially focused product mind to our rapid iteration, discovery and development cycles. You will:

  • Work across multiple workstreams. You’ll work with multiple product engineers across multiple problem spaces simultaneously. You’ll help provide challenge, context and support to make sure we’re solving the right problems with the right impact.

  • Go deep on problem spaces, from customer insight to data to regulation. You’re able to go very deep on problem spaces, but to summarise clearly and succinctly to enable faster, better, decisions..

  • Think in terms of commercial outcomes. You’ll put together recommendations based on data, customer insights, market research and commercial impact, to demonstrate clear recommendations or decisions. You’re comfortable owning commercial outcomes.

  • Guide key prioritisation decisions. You’ll bring the right data, customer insights and commercial impact to help guide key prioritisation decisions. You’ll track the results all the way through to adoption, to make further investment decisions.

  • Be able to model commercial impact, recommend pricing for new SKUs, and be a partner to GTM teams in enabling product launch and impact. Your commercial nous means that you are a trusted partner to the engineers as much as to the commercial teams in rolling out new, complex or priced products.

  • Ideally: you’re as comfortable prototyping as you are with analysis.

This Role Is a Great Fit If You…

  • Thrive in ambiguity, pace, and breadth of product coverage.

  • Quantify your problems and impact - thinking in terms of revenue, customer adoption and customer value.

  • Ship working prototypes and code yourself - and know where that line sits with engineering and where to pull additional resources.

  • Build real empathy for customers in a complex or regulated domain, and can show what changed as a result.

  • Operate at pace, making trade-offs under real constraints, and want an environment where the decision is genuinely yours.

This Role Is Not a Great Fit If You…

  • Focus more on what's being built than why it's being built.

  • Index on the solution - leading with what you'd build before you've evidenced the problem.

  • Measure your work in features shipped or throughput rather than outcomes.

  • Sequence everything rather than kill something when the prioritisation call gets hard.

  • Need a roadmap handed to you, or someone above you to ratify the call.
